STORYBOARDS AHOY!
First off, I arranged the boards and numbered them in Photoshop.
I know the story should flow and be easily understood, but i have 2 complicated shots in there, that i thought would benefit from number (and being described here).
We'll start right here.
Board 1
The city street, and the hero hits the ground like he just lept off a building. We see him rise and get a good look at him. Cut to an Overhead shot, establishing the street layout, and the size and location of the robot.
Board 2
I started at the bottom for this board, and numbered up, because we cut back to the hero, and pan over to the foot of the robot, then the camera spirals counterclock-wise from the robot's feet to his face.
Board 3
Now, either the camera will simply cut to Dr. Skull in his lab, or travel into the robot's head, establishing where Dr. Skull's video feed is coming from. Either way....
Board 4
The camera starts at the hero's eyes, travels down to his mouth, where he goes from stoic to smirking, then tilts back up to his eyes, which seem to have frosted over.
Board 5
The hero strikes, launching an ice spike into the Robot's mask vent. The hero's eyes flash with electricity, and it begins to flow up the ice, into the robot, causing the robot's eyes to glow far too bright.
Board 6
The robot falls, and our hero stands triumphant beside it, as the robot's eyes flicker then go black. Cut to Dr. Skull's lab, where we see the same flicker and black. Dr. Skull simply hangs his head in defeat. Cut to black.
Now I'm hoping to be able to establish a bit of suspense through timing, but if anyone has shot recommendations, i'd be glad to hear em.
