Ok. Simple update this week. I watched The Incredibles and took notes, which i'm gradually turning into part of the research paper. I've got notes divided into Historical, Aesthetic, and Technical. so i'm comfortable there.

I created a new animatic. the timing is the same, but i used blocking renders for it, to add a new dimension to it.

My friend Jason, who's an actual musician and is scoring my piece, says he's got the music ready, and is waiting for revisions to the timing of the piece.

I'm still trying to decide whether or not to insert countering shots of Charger and the robot, as they did in For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Basically, it would go along the lines of showing a full body shot of Charger. then a full body shot of the robot. then a mid size shot of Charger, then the robot. A close up on the face of Charger, then the robot. maybe a close up on the hands of Charger then the robot, since that's where the damage would come from. and i would finally insert a close up of Chargers eyes, then the robot's eyes. Maybe for the next animatic, i'll try it. see how it feels.
